Classic Hong Kong ranking and play order only.

Card order

Hong Kong ranking with suit priority.

Deck and deal

Use a standard 52-card deck with no jokers. All cards are dealt to four players.

Rank and suit order

2 is highest, 3 is lowest. Suits rank spades, hearts, clubs, then diamonds.

Opening lead

The round opens with the 3 of diamonds.

Valid hands

Standard Hong Kong five-card ranking.

Valid hands

Singles, pairs, triples, and five-card hands: straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush.

Comparison

Play the same number of cards and beat the current hand using rank and suit.

Five-card ranking

Hand types rank: straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush.

Play flow

Passes reset the trick.

Play flow

The player with the 3♦ leads. Each turn must beat the current hand or pass.

Passing

If all other players pass, the last player to play starts a new trick.

Winning

The first player to play all cards wins the round.
